Shaylah Kagehiro, BSN, RN
Shaylah Kagehiro earned her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health from Azusa Pacific University. She completed the Graduate Entry Program in Nursing at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner track at UH Mānoa. Through this program, she is developing advanced clinical expertise to provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care across the lifespan. Her training emphasizes culturally responsive care and addressing the health needs of Hawai‘i’s diverse communities.
Her academic interests include improving healthcare access and reducing disparities in underserved populations. She is committed to advancing health equity through her clinical practice and leadership development within the DNP program.
