Your Instructor

Jarred Prudencio, PharmD, BCACP, BC-ADM


Dr. Jarred Prudencio received his Pharm.D. degree from the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy, and completed a post-graduate year 1 (PGY-1) pharmacy practice residency at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. His residency emphasis was on ambulatory care and also included the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Program (STLP) certification.

Dr. Prudencio joined the DKICP faculty in August 2016. He maintains a clinical practice site as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist at the East Hawaii Health Clinic (Primary Care). He oversees the experiential component of the Pharm.D. curriculum, while also precepting pharmacy students on ambulatory care and academia/research rotations. Additionally, he teaches didactic lectures on therapeutic topics relating to chronic disease states and providing comprehensive patient care. His research interests include demonstrating optimization of patient outcomes in the ambulatory care setting and innovations in pharmacy education. He serves as a faculty advisor and mentor to pharmacy students and is involved in various professional pharmacy organizations.
